Kerrang! wanted to start an all-out slobber knocker of a debate with their list of the best metal band from each of the 50 states. The feature, which they call, "The United States of Metal," dub it the "definitive, objective, indisputable list," knowing full well that they were about to start a social media war. They offer an explanation as to why they picked each band and suggested some required listening. While some picks are obvious like Metallica taking California and Pantera claiming Texas, many of their selections are from some underground bands like Maine's Ogre and Ohio's Skeletonwitch.
You can check out the full from the folks at Kerrang! here.
