Johnny Depp Sued For Attacking Crew Member

Johnny Depp is being sued by a member of the crew on a movie shoot for allegedly punching him while they were filming in downtown Los Angeles.

The lawsuit was filed over an incident which took place last April and is seeking unspecified damages. TMZ reports that Depp punched the location manager for the film he was working on twice in the rib cage after he was told to wrap up a scene.

The man filing the lawsuit identified as Gregg "Rocky" Brooks, was hired on as a location manager in 2017 during filming for the movie "City of Lies," the story about rapper Biggie Smalls' murder. Depp plays the LAPD detective, Russell Poole, who investigates the late rapper's death.

Brooks says when a scene wasn't working well, he informed the director they only had one more shot at finishing it. That's when he says Depp allegedly lost it, attacking Brooks, angrily screaming, "Who the f*** are you? You have no right to tell me what to do."

Depp then allegedly punched Rocky twice in the rib cage. When he didn't react, Rocky says Depp screamed at him that he would, "give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now."

The lawsuit also claims that Depp's breath reeked of alcohol and went on a screaming rant until he was taken away by bodyguards.

Over the last year and a half, the troubled actor has been through a divorce, sued his lawyers for losing $40 million of his money, and given a rambling interview to Rolling Stone in which he confirmed rumors he wears an earpiece while acting.
