Arctic Monkeys Share 'Warp Speed Chic' Mini-Doc, Announce New B-Side

Arctic Monkeys are winding down their massive tour in support of their latest album, Tranquility Base Hotel and Casinobut that doesn't mean they're going to stop giving fans what they want.

On Tuesday (October 16), the English alt-rockers shared a mini-doc called Warp Speed Chic that documents the making of the band's latest album.

Director Ben Chappell shot the 12-minute-long film on a 16mm camera. “After spending a year documenting Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino I wanted to try and pull it all together in a short film," he said. “At that point I was still only hearing bits and pieces of the tunes as they were being recorded. Nearly a year later I was on stage with them in Lyon France shooting some of those same tunes.”

The short film shows the progression of the band recording songs like "The Ultracheese" in a living room, and then playing the song live. It also gives fans a behind the scenes look on the set of the “Four Out Of Five" video shoot.

In addition to the mini-doc, Arctic Monkeys also announced a 7” single of the album's title track, which will include a new b-side called "Anyways." The record is slated for a November 30th release and is available for pre-order here.
