On Thursday night, news broke that former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler had to be rushed to the hospital after police received a 911 call from his home reporting that someone had stabbed themselves. It turned out Steven had a stab wound to his stomach. Some outlets reported that it was a suicide attempt, but the rocker's rep has denied those allegations. They say that it was an accident that caused a "very minor, superficial wound" to Steven. The injury was so insignificant that Adler still plans to perform his July 12th gig in Las Vegas with his band, Adler's Appetite.
As for anyone thinking that what happened on Thursday night had anything to do with drugs, Steven's rep stated that Adler has been sober for several years. Previously, Steven appeared on shows like Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and Sober House after many battles with addiction. In fact, it was his addiction to heroin that got him kicked out of GN'R in 1990.
