Good Charlotte Cancel Tour Dates Due To 'Very Personal And Unexpected Loss'

Good Charlotte finished the North American leg of their summer tour last month and was expected to play the California date of Warped Tour before heading to Europe, but unfortunately for fans that is no longer the plan. On Tuesday (July 9) the band took to Twitter to tell fans the hard news that they would be canceling the remainder of their tour dates due to "very personal and unexpected loss" in their family.

“GC fans everywhere, it is with great disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our remaining summer tour dates. This year has been one of the most challenging years for our band, as we’ve been dealing with a very personal and unexpected loss in our family. We have to take the time to focus on our families and our well being," the statement reads. "Thank you for the love and support you’ve given us, we hope you know the genuine appreciation we have for you all. We hope to see you all very soon. Love, GC”

Though the band didn't go into detail about the loss they're grieving, we hope nothing but the best for them as they take personal time.
