Green Day Fans Can Listen To Songs On Teddy Ruxpin With 'Dookie Demastered'

Green Day celebrated 30 years of Dookie by playing it in full all summer during their Saviors tour, but that's not all they had up their sleeves for the milestone anniversary. On Wednesday (October 9), the band announced a special edition of the album that will appeal to fans born in the '80s. Dookie Demastered gives fans the opportunity to play each song off the album on a different unconventional yet nostalgic format, including Teddy Ruxpin, a Game Boy cartridge, and even Big Mouth Billy Bass.

Green Day unveiled the collaboration with BRAIN on social media, with snippets of how some of the songs look and sound in various formats. "Dookie Demastered: 15 tracks. 15 formats. The way it was never meant to be heard. 30 years later," reads the caption.

Fans can preview and purchase each format at dookiedemastered.com. Check out the announcement and a list of each song's lo-fi format below.
