Slipknot have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album this year by going back to their roots, but a new line of merch shows the band looking to the future with a fresh take on their signature "S" logo. And fans are not pleased.

The band shared photos of the new collection on Instagram, and fans did not hold back in the comments.

"Do NOT change the S design to that please," one begged.

"The s on the first one is complete a** guys," wrote another.

"Oh god don't change the S please, this new one s*cks, sorry love you guys," lamented another fan.

Not everyone hates the new look though. One fan wrote "It's better lol," to which another replied, “s**t looks like a paper clip but go off lil man.”

The new logo is referred to as "Ritual S" on Slipknot's merch portal. The Ritual S shirt is also described as "extremely limited" on the website, cautioning visitors, "You will never get this same item again." The band's classic "Tribal S" logo is especially close to fans' hearts because late drummer Joey Jordison designed it.
